Daily Conversation Practice (“we”, “our”, or “the App”) respects your privacy.

We collect only minimal data necessary for core functionality.
a. Data You Provide
  • Microphone access: Used only when you choose to speak in Role-Play mode.
    → Voice is processed temporarily on your device or securely via speech recognition to provide pronunciation feedback.
    → Recordings are not stored, saved, or shared.
  • Optional account data (if sign-in enabled): name, email, and progress backup via Google Sign-In.
b. Automatically Collected Data
  • App performance data: anonymized crash logs and usage events (e.g., lesson started/completed).
  • Analytics: optional; helps improve app quality. You can disable analytics anytime in Settings.
3. How We Use Data
We use data solely to:
  • Provide conversation and pronunciation features.
  • Improve lesson quality and app stability.
  • Maintain streaks and learning progress (if account is used).
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third party for marketing.
4. Data Storage and Retention
  • All data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
  • Temporary voice data is deleted immediately after feedback.
  • Account data (if any) is retained until you delete your account.
5. User Control
You have full control:
  • Export Data: You can export your progress via “Settings → Export Data”.
  • Delete Account & Data: “Settings → Delete My Data” removes all stored info immediately.
  • Turn Off Analytics: “Settings → Privacy Options”.
  • You may also email us for full deletion confirmation.
6. Third-Party Services
We may use:
  • Google Speech Recognition API (for optional pronunciation feedback).
  • Firebase Crashlytics (for anonymous crash reporting).
Both follow Google’s privacy and data protection standards.
7. Children’s Privacy
The app is suitable for all ages.
We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.
8. Security
We use secure encryption and follow Google Play’s data safety policies.
If a breach ever occurs, we’ll notify users promptly.
